Dr. Katie found her passion in taking care of pregnant women, children and really entire families after becoming pregnant herself. She is a huge advocate for breastfeeding, home birth and informed consent so if you have any questions she’d love to chat! She was blessed to be able to have a home birth with Blake and knows people tend to have a lot of questions because it’s not super common. She planned on having another home birth with her son but COVID changed her plans and she had him with midwives at their beautiful birth center instead.

Dr. Katie is from a small town in Wisconsin but she and her family relocated to Tega Cay in 2021 to be closer to her brother. Her little family includes her husband Eric, daughter Blake, son Chip and rescue German Shepherd, Romeo.

In her free time she love hanging out with her kids, playing volleyball and working out.
